Steven Kinzler, Founder & President

A lifelong San Fernando Valley resident, Steven Kinzler is the founder and president of SK Landscape Design, Inc., an award-winning landscape design, installation, and maintenance company serving Los Angeles, Ventura County, and surrounding communities.

With a passion for creativity, craftsmanship, and the outdoors, Steven has spent more than three decades helping homeowners and businesses transform their properties into beautiful, functional outdoor environments. Under his leadership, SK Landscape Design has earned a reputation for exceptional service, attention to detail, and long-lasting client relationships.

Before launching SK Landscape Design, Steven built a diverse professional background in industrial sales and the entertainment industry, where he worked as an Associate and Technical Director on film, television, documentary, and reality productions. His entrepreneurial spirit and appreciation for design ultimately led him to pursue a career in landscape architecture and horticulture.

​

Steven studied horticulture at California State University, Northridge and is a licensed landscape contractor with the California State License Board. He remains actively involved in the industry as a board member of the San Fernando Valley Chapter of the California Landscape Contractors Association and serves as Vice President of the Foundation for Innovative Learning.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Steven proudly served for ten years as a Reserve Police Sergeant with the Inglewood Police Department and is a graduate of the South Bay Police Academy.

 

Steven lives in Northridge with his wife, Debilyn. Together they have four children—Kasee, Rachel, Zachary, and Lucas—and enjoy spending time with their grandson, Teddy.
